About

This seven-session program is part of the Credit Risk Management Certification Program (CRMCP), a partnership between IECA and Moody’s Analytics. The program is targeted for the intermediate to advanced level credit professional. Participants are required to attend all seven sessions in order to receive credit for the CRMCP. Throughout the seven sessions participants work case studies relevant to the topics. The first session introduces financial distress in the energy sector. Holmes gives a historical perspective with focus on causes and signs of distress and discusses costs and resolution. He also discusses the credit cycle and how various industries and companies behave through that cycle. 

Prerequisites: Two years’ experience in a credit-related function or attendance at the Fundamentals of Credit Risk Analysis seminar or eLearning program.
