Rosenberg & Parker Surety
James began his career in Credit at Euler Hermes, where he performed extensive financial statement analysis on companies across multiple sectors, helping the firm to make better informed credit decisions. After Euler, James joined Exelon where he was introduced to the energy markets and ultimately the IECA. During his time at Exelon, he was responsible for managing and optimizing the collateral portfolio for their unregulated business. In his role at Exelon he developed a unique understanding of liquidity risk, trade finance operations, wholesale energy transactions, and credit contracts which has transferred over to his current role as a Producer at Rosenberg and Parker. At Rosenberg and Parker, a leading Surety only brokerage firm in North America, he helps his clients effectively and efficiently manage their surety program to maximize their liquidity and profitability.
James is an active member of the International Energy Credit Association (IECA), Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS), and National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP). He enjoys being involved and currently acts as Chair of the Developing Energy Professionals Group for the IECA and an active committee member of the Commercial Surety Committee for the NASBP.
James graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. In his spare time, he does everything he can to play golf whenever the weather allows.
